Confident French – Group Course Fees & Terms

The Confident French GCSE group course provides a weekly 60-minute online lesson during school term time, in a small group setting.

Groups will be kept small to ensure that every student has plenty of opportunity to participate, ask questions and receive support.

The course fee is £95 per month.

The £95 monthly fee is an equalised payment for the academic year, rather than a payment for a set number of lessons each month.

This means that the monthly fee remains £95 even in months containing half-term or school holidays, when there may be fewer lessons.

There is no payment in August.

The monthly payment system makes the cost simple and predictable for parents, with the annual course cost spread evenly across the 11 payment months.

Payment is made monthly in advance.

Invoices will normally be sent around the 17th of the preceding month, and payment is due before the 1st of the month to which it relates.

Your child’s place in the group is reserved while the membership remains active.

Students are welcome to join during the academic year, subject to availability and suitability for the group.

The monthly fee is £95 regardless of the month in which the student joins.

To provide stability for the group and allow places to be planned in advance, there is a minimum commitment of one full school term.

After the initial term, membership can be cancelled by giving one month’s notice in writing.

Fees remain payable during the notice period, and the student’s place will remain available until the end of that period.

The monthly fee reserves your child’s place in the group and is therefore payable whether or not your child attends an individual lesson.

Unfortunately, refunds or reductions cannot be given for lessons missed due to illness, holidays, appointments or other personal commitments.

If a lesson needs to be cancelled by Confident French, a replacement lesson will be arranged where reasonably possible.
