Learning French can feel overwhelming. There are new words to remember, tricky grammar, different tenses and the pressure of getting the marks in an exam. My aim is to make French feel clearer, more manageable and much less daunting.
Students need to understand what examiners are looking for and how to use their knowledge effectively — accurate sentences, wider vocabulary, key tenses, developed answers and a clear exam strategy.
I break difficult concepts down into simple, achievable steps and encourage students to have a go. Mistakes are part of learning — and confidence grows when students realise they can do more than they thought they could.
No two students are the same, so I adapt my lessons to the individual student rather than expecting everyone to learn in exactly the same way.
